יְרוּשָׁה
‘יְרוּשָׁה’ offers a new look at the works of Shay id Alony.
It interacts with objects that humans have created to protect, hide, represent, and dream. It looks at the recurring form, the material, and the image that continues to live even after being separated from its source. The masks inside the book serve as a kind of mirror. While observing them, we encounter something of ourselves: ancient fears, familiar gestures, and desires that have not yet changed. In this sense, ‘יְרוּשָׁה’ is not only about what we have received from the past.
It is about what we continue to pass on.
